Haudi! Tämä on ehdottomasti paras & monipuolisin kotisivu, jossa olen netissä käynyt. En itse ole bouvier-harrastaja mutta saatan tulevaisuudessa ryhtyä sellaiseksi. Omistan kuitenkin tälla haavaa 2 kipakkaa borderterrieriä, joiden kanssa harrrastan vakavaluonteisesti raunioita ja hakua. Erityisesti teidän kotisivulla tällaiselle rotua harkitsevalle ihmiselle luonnetestitulokset ja erilaisissa harrastuksissa menestyneiden koirien tulokset kertovat paljon. Myöskin rodun (nartun ja uroksen erikseen) luonne "siviilissä" on hyvä tuntea. Itseäni on paljon askarruttanut se seikka, että miten 6,5-vuotias oman arvon tunteva borderterrieri-narttuni Tootsie hyväksyisi uuden tulokkaan, josta yllättäen kasvaakin monta kertaa isompi tai miten selviäisin bouvier-uroksen kanssa. No, tässä on aikaa asiaa pohtia, sillä koiran hankinta ei ainakaan vuoteen pariin tule ajankohtaiseksi. Tarran tarina on myös hyvä kaikkien tuntea; olen tutustunut siihen+Arun ja muutaman muun samaiselle eläinrääkkääjälle joutuneen koiran tarinan. Terv. Pia Laamanen+borderit

Hi! Just realized a problem with some entries in the Bouv database.The Sire/Dam's are mixed up. Borka van Sevenheym is one. Donaah is in as sire but she is female and the dam is a male. I found it because there were 85 entries on my program that errored out because of male/female crosses.Otherwise looks great!!! Awesome Website, you are to be congratulated! I have a 10 year old male Bouvier "Joe". I adore him and hopes he lives forever, however he won't. He seems very happy and healthy but dogs can be troopers. What is the bouvier life expectancy based your experience. I hear anything from 10 to 14 years. Hope to perk up his last years and minimize my heartache by getting a female puppy for companionship. Several questions based on assumtions that I would like to have verified or corrected; (1) Are European dogs on the average superior in temperment.Of course I attribute this to no AKC. (2) Are the European Bouviers smaller,height/weight than their average American counterpart? (3) Are they on the average smarter than their American counterparts? My dog is not too bright which might be a preferable attribute in house dog with owners who both work. comments? Enough with the questions already. If your dogs exhibt the same quality of intelligent thought and care you have taken with your website then they are surly animals to be proud of and coveted by Bouvier devotees. Thank you for the pleasure of cruising your site and seeing your dogs. I have added your URL to my bookmarks to ensure myself a return visit. Thanks

I have just lost my best friend, Olympus Astrid II, also known as ASHLEY. She was a brindle bouvier and a sweetheart. I miss her very much and I thought I would browse the web to see what was available ... Ashley was a rescue dog from a woman that had kept her in the basement only to breed her. I would like to have a dog that is strong, undeterred and willing to guard me and my home and still be my companion and let me be the boss. I think a bouvier does all those things. My girlfriend just got a Belgian Lakenvois but the breed is too small to suit my taste. I like your web page very much and thank you for providing such a well thought out design. Comments: I'm in college now but own two Bouviers back home. My family absolutely loves these dogs -- they are perfect. They have the best temperament for a house dog. They will ride in a car for 4 hours or can go play at a farm all day. They are great with children and are intelligent and unique.
