Yrjö-Sankari-Yrjö-Lankinen will be nine soon. That is hard to believe - he looks and acts like a youngster. He belongs to those easy dogs; he never causes  any troubles, he is always in perfect health, he is happy and ready to join You where ever You go but doesn't cry his eyes off if left at home. He is Uncle-Yrjö to all our puppies, he loves to play with them and to tease the whole puppygang on the yard and never ever would he harm the puppies in any ways. He is his fathers's (Xar vd Axmagal) son - that means a very busy bouvier and he is the one who still makes the whole pack run, run, run on the yard. Oh, one nasty habit he has: when bored he sucks everybody else's ears soaked...

Yrjö and Mervi Anneli are from the same T-litter and actually Mervi Anneli was the one we planned to keep at home. Yrjö was the first runner-up and there just didn't seem to be a perfect home enough for Yrjö in the whole Finland...our friends laughed that come on, You just make excuses so that You may keep them both ...anyway when Mervi Anneli died accidentally at the age of 7 months only it was clear as day that Yrjö will stay.

Yrjö did some tracking and ran in trials as a messenger dog. There were no real problems in his training but he would have needed a slow training done with care because he is a soft guy who was all too unhuppy when failing in doing something. And then Jylppy (N.Virvatuli) was born and concerning training activities Piukku focused on her and ever since Yrjö has lived here a careless life of a familydog "only". When he turned seven he decided that OK, now I am a veteran and stareted to collect all kinds of special rights to himself. Nobody else is allowed to put their nose on that table where there is food served, but Yrjö may do that - who could resist a black bouvier face "smiling" and growling and staring at You. That gesture is inherited from his father - they both show their biiig, white teeth very effectively when smiling ...or have You seen many veterans turn a somersault on a sofa? That is another Ykä's inherited specialities. Or have You seen a veteran male gather a whole living-room carpet in his mouth and try to escape with it... Yrjö has clearly decided to stay young throughout his life and he is more than welcome to do that!
