General rules
All national trials consist of two parts:
Obedience (100p) andField work (200p)
The obedience part is equal to FCI:s IPO regulation (minor differences to SchH:s obedience). Optimal performed obedience should show dog's eagerness to work and willingness to cooperation. Obedience movements and scores.
In every trial form we have three classes from 1 to 3. The judge must be certified separately for every trial form. A normal (more than 10 participants) trial must also have an Senior Judge to control the trial. To be a Senior Judge you must be educated and certifies to judge all trial forms.
The results of the trials equal IPO-results
To acchieve a:
1. price you need the score of at least 270 points2. price you need the score of at least 240 points3. price you need the score of at least 210 points
The certificates are granted from a result with at least 70% from the maximum of obedience points (=70 points) and at least 75% from the maximum of field work's points (=150 points). Every trial form/class has it's own certificate:
Tracking Trial - JK (JK1,JK2,JK3)
Search - HK (HK1, HK2, HK3)
Schutzhund trial - SCHH (SCHH1, SCHH2, SCHH3)
IPO - IP (IP1, IP2, IP3)
General Trial - YK (YK1, YK2, YK3)
Messenger Dog trial - VK (VK1, VK2, VK3)
FH-Trial - EJ (EJ1, EJ2)
BH-trial - KK
Guide dog trial - OK
To participate a dog must:
Class I:
- be at least 14 months old
Class II:
- be at least 16 months old
- have a certicifate and at least second price from class 1
Class III:
- be at least 20 months old
- have a certicifate and at least second price from class 2
A dog will gain Finnish Working Dog Championship if it has got at least three times first price in class III. These first prices must be from two different years. The dog must also have at least a "very good" from an official dog show and officially x-rayed hips.
