Fill in the searching criteria on the form. You may search a dog by it's name or by it's owner. The default is a pattern search, which finds all the records that includes the searched string.

If you are searching dogs by their breed, you should check the "Exact Match" -box, too. The breeds are defined as a shortcuts and Your search may match with several breeds if pattern search is used. For instance the breed Boxer is shortened as "B", and a pattern search would match to Belgian shepherds (Bl, Bm, Bt, Bg) and to Bouvier (Bv) as well.

By checking the "Case Sensitive" -box, the search will turn into Case Sensitive.
